Stacking The Shelves (31/05/14)

I bought books again this week and I don't even care. And no-one will even know because you're all at BEA anyway *cackles evilly*

I didn't buy the cup though. I just like to show that off.

This week I've been busy on the blog! I've read five books (yes, five!), completed/updated my review archive and planned a post discussing every sequel I need to read. It'll be a two part post, with the second being in 6 months to see if I've got the sequels read.

Read This Week (Sat 24th - Fri 30th)

I bet that when you saw I'd read 5 books this week you thought they were mostly novellas, right? I guess I have too much time on my hands...

No disappointing reads this week! I reviewed them all except Days of Blood and Starlight, which I really need to do soon.

Singing Badly To This Week

I heard this (twice) on Britain's Got Talent. He sings a lot better than a lot of the bands he writes song for and this one is really catchy.

Ha, I'm not at BEA! I wish I was though. Boo. Ah, never mind... one year maybe! I have More Than This and I really need to get around to it soon. I just have too many books!

Yay for new books, even if probably we should not be buying them. Hope you enjoy! And good going on reading five books this week.

  3. Wow! You sure have a lot of time in your hands. I miss the days when all I do is read the whole day. I'll be back to read your reviews, they all look good. I've read Daughter of Smoke And Bone, so I'll most likely read the sequels too.

As for your haul, I hope you'd enjoy them. I want to read Alice in Zombieland, even if my friend didn't like it that much.

  4. For the first time in a long time I only bought 2 new books this week so feeling very virtuous! Loved We Were Liars and Will Grayson, Will Grayson but the other 3 are on my TBR - and have been for far too long! Far too broke to go to BEA from buying books :)

  17. Great haul! I love that mug...I'd show it off too if I had one like that. ;-) I can't believe you read so many books this week! I'm always jealous of fast readers because I'm really slow. Days of Blood and Starlight is a beast, too...it'll probably take me a week just to read it lol. Happy reading! :-)

  29. I wish we had our own version of BEA in Australia too, but we're incredibly lucky with how generous our publishers are. I loved More Than This and I bought a copy of Will Grayson, Will Grayson this week too. Looking forward to seeing your thoughts on Alice in Zombieland. I recently nabbed a swap through our own Aussie YA Bloggers group and trying to squeeze in a read. Happy reading and awesome haul :)

  33. I'm not at BEA either. One day, I'll go. I just need to save a bucketload of money first. And 5 books is impressive; I'd have to play hooky from work to get that done. I thought the Mind Games series was fun to read. And I loved The Program although the second one's not as good. Happy reading!

    Thanks for visiting my haul.

  34. I quite like that purple WG, WG spine. I've never seen it before. We only seem to have the plain red one floating around in the Aussie shops--which is okay, but I haven't bought it yet.
